The Challenge- A local manufacturer felt that their distributors' sales people were not adequately familiar with their product line. This resulted in increased levels of support calls and lost sales to competitors.
The Solution- The company instituted an instructor led training program for the sales people. DDM created a CD-ROM based training application that is shown to sales trainees while the instructor speaks. The CD contains video clips showing the products being used in real-life situations as well as charts and graphs that detailed product information.
The Results- The company received tremendous praise from their distributors. Repeatedly, sales people stated that none of their other vendors had any training tools that were as professional and effective. The company believes that their corporate image has benefited greatly from the use of this training presentation tool.
