The Challenge- A local professor is spearheading the drive in higher education to replace standard classroom lectures with student-centered learning techniques. Students in  his class are challenged to adapt Dante's epic poem The Inferno to their personal lives. Students create a wide variety of projects including plays, videos, cookbooks, travel guides, and board games. Much work has been done and his experiences would benefit others trying to transform higher education. How can he communicate with other educators?

The Solution- DDM created a presentation to be presented on a kiosk at The Center for Interactive Learning (CIL) in Dayton, Ohio. Thousands of people, including educators from around the world, pass by the CIL kiosk each year. The interactive presentation depicts student achievements and the challenges faced by the professor teaching this course. 

The Results- The presentation is scheduled to be completed and installed in the CIL in June, 2001. DDM also produced a modified presentation that was presented at The League of Innovation annual conference, a gathering of the leaders of the education community.
